CRASH TEAM RACING NITRO-FUELED Will Include Content from CRASH NITRO KART and Exclusive Content Announced for PS4
When I was growing up, my best friend had a PlayStation and we played a lot of Crash Team Racing. It was a really fun kart racing game. I would argue it was probably second only to the Mario Kart series. Now, fans will get to play the lesser-known kart racer thanks to the release of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled which is an HD remake of the original game. It turns out that there’s more to it than that, though, as the game will also include content from the even lesser-known follow-up Crash Nitro Kart.
“The bonus CNK content will include all thirteen of the game’s tracks which have been adapted to match the original CTR experience. Additionally, remastered karts, battle arenas and battle modes from the original CNK will be included in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled and can be played in stunning HD glory.”
That sounds pretty cool. I never played CNK, but I’m glad I’ll have the renewed opportunity to try out what it had to offer. Another announcement showed that PS4 owners will be getting a special treat. PS4 players will get some retro skins that make a couple of the characters look blocky and closer to their designs from the original CTR.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will be available on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One starting June 21.
