Crazy New Trailer for the Dark Comedy THIS GAME'S CALLED MURDER with Ron Perlman
A new trailer has been released for Ron Perlman’s upcoming dark comedy film This Game’s Called Murder. The movie looks like it’s going to deliver a bonkers good time!
The movie is described as a “dark and wickedly funny film about the eccentric members of the Wallendorf Family. Mr. Wallendorf, a fashion mogul and designer of iconic red high heeled shoes, Mrs. Wallendorf, his conniving brutal wife, and Jennifer Wallendorf, their daughter and a social media powerhouse who’s just trying to figure out love, friendship, and world dominance. The eccentric Wallendorf’s struggle to maintain the facade of a prominent successful family while their violent nature rips them apart.”
The movie was directed by Adam Sherman (Wristcutters: A Love Story), and it stars Vanessa Marano as Jennifer Wallendorf, “the daughter of a famed designer of women’s luxury footwear (Perlman), who aims to sabotage his sadistic business.”
The story is said to be filled with murder, greed, and betrayal, and it also stars James Lastovic, Natasha Henstridge, Nicole Sousa, Nikko Austin Smith, Tory Devon Smith, Judson Mills, Challen Cates, Annabel Barrett, Tyler Steelman, and more.
Cranked Up Films CEO Scott Donley said in a statement, “We couldn’t be more excited for audiences to experience this one-of-a-kind, vivid, and unapologetically ‘in-your-face’ film. Adam has such a unique perspective and filmmaking voice, it’s been an absolute pleasure having him as a creative partner on this release.”
The director added, “Looking at the world and people as characters and as drama has given me insight into human relationships, acceptance of life, and duality. This has given me a more positive outlook on the world, or perhaps acceptance of the opera that we’re all a part of.”
This Game’s Called Murder will hit theaters and on demand December 3rd.
