Crazy Red-Band Trailer For Stoner Spy Thriller AMERICAN ULTRA

Before Jesse Eisenberg hits the big screen as the next Lex Luthor, he's playing a stoner who discovers he's actually a secret agent. Here's the red-band trailer for American Ultra, directed by Nima Nourizadeh (Project X) and written by Chronicle writer Max Landis.

Eisenberg plays a stoner who is "activated" by Connie Britton's character, and before he can propose to his girlfriend (Kristen Stewart), the two have to go on the run from the government agency that's trying to silence them. It looks like a great small-scale thriller with the potential to be super funny, so we're hoping for good things from this one when it arrives on August 21st.
