Crazy Trailer for Psychological Thriller LUCE Starring Naomi Watts and Octavia Spencer

I’ve got a super crazy trailer for you to check out today for a movie called Luce. The movie stars Kelvin Harrison Jr. (It Comes at Night, Monsters and Men) as Luce Edgar, an all-star high school student and athlete who was adopted as a child from a war-torn country, and is on track to do great things.

That is, until his teacher, played by Octavia Spencer (The Help, Ma), makes some serious accusations about Luce and his behavior and character. His parents, played by Naomi Watts (The Impossible, St. Vincent) and Tim Roth (Pulp Fiction, The Hateful Eight) don’t know who or what to believe, and Luce’s future becomes less clear than ever before.

This movie looks like it’s going to be really intense, and it’s hard to tell who is telling the truth. This movie is coming along on the heels of Spencer’s thriller Ma, so she is on a roll playing parts that are new for her. I hope this movie has lots of twists and turns and gives us something unexpected.

Check out the trailer below and see Luce in theaters on August 2, 2019.
