Momentum Pictures has released a trailer for an upcoming new body horror film titled Swallowed, and it looks like quite a horrific and disturbing movie.

The brief synopsis for the movie reads: “After a drug run goes bad, two friends must survive a nightmarish ordeal of drugs, bugs and horrific intimacy in this body-horror thriller.”

The movie comes from writer and director Carter Smith (The Ruins), and it was also described as being “Dripping with blood and pus, Swallowed is queer body horror with all the naked flesh and shocking violations of a classic midnight movie.”

The movie stars Jena Malone (The Ruins, Neon Demon), Mark Patton (A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge), Cooper Koch (Blumhouse’s They/Them), and debuting talent Jose Colon star.

The movie will be released on VOD and Digital release on February 14, 2023.
