"Creeping Horrors From the Depths of Time and Space!" Poster Art by Tim Odland
Artist Tim Odland sent us this incredible piece of poster art for all you horror fans to enjoy. He calls it "Creeping Horror From the Depths of Time and Space!" It has a really fun and playful retro feel to it, and as you can see, it features portraits of several classic characters from horror films we've enjoyed watching throughout the years. Here's a statement from the artist:
"I'm participating in "inktober" this month. I was drawing and inking about four monster portraits a day and posting them to my instagram. In the beginning I had a huge list of monsters I wanted to draw. A week into the challenge the drawings were stacking up and I didn't know what to do with them. It occurred to me that they'd look great together on a poster. Total there are 49 Monsters on the poster, from classic to modern horror flicks. Some are scarier than others but they all come from great movies. It's a good road map of what to watch if your in the mood for a good Horror flick."
The poster will be on display at Mod-a-go-go during their Halloween group show on Friday, October 17th 6-9pm. Tim is also offering a limited number of 50 prints for sale that are available on his Etsy shop. This is a must own poster for any horror film fiend.
