Creepy New Trailer for Hugh Grant's Mormon Missionary Horror Movie HERETIC
We’ve got a great new trailer to share with you for A24’s upcoming horror movie Heretic, which centers on two Mormon sister missionaries who find themselves in a horrific and twisted experience after they knock on the wrong door.
The movie stars Hugh Grant (D&D: Honor Among Thieves), who has been getting a lot of praise for his performance in this movie. He is joined by Chloe East (The Fabelmans) and Sophie Thatcher (Yellowjackets).
In the film, the two Mormon sister missionaries attempt to convert a man who turns out to be far more sinister than they could have anticipated.
The official logline reads: “Two young missionaries are forced to prove their faith when they knock on the wrong door and are greeted by a diabolical Mr. Reed, becoming ensnared in his deadly game of cat-and-mouse.”
This looks like a great and creepy horror flick and its one that I’m looking forward to watching. It’s going to be interesting to see how this story plays out and comes to an end.
Heretic comes from A Quiet Place writers Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, who wrote the script and will direct the film.
A24 will release Heretic in theaters on November 15, 2024.
