Creepy Trailer For The Haunted House Horror Film THE CELLAR Starring Elisha Cuthbert
I enjoy horror movies that are set in creepy haunted houses and Shudder has released the first trailer for a fun-looking movie titled The Cellar, which deals with exactly that. The movie centers on a young girl who vanishes in the cellar of a new house.
Elisha Cuthbert stars in the film as Keira Woods, whose daughter “mysteriously vanishes in the cellar of their new house. She soon discovers there is an ancient and powerful entity controlling their home, built by an occultist, that she will have to face or risk losing her family's souls forever.”
As Keria investigates the occultist, she learns that he was obsessed with finding the 11th dimension. So, he built the house and engraved evil equations on the 10 steps leading into the cellar. Of course, she ends up battling an ancient evil for the souls of her family.
The Cellar was written and directed by Brendan Muldowney and it also stars Eoin Macken, Abby Fitz, and Dylan Fitzmaurice-Brady. This looks like a great horror film worth checking out. It will be released in select theaters and streaming on Shudder starting April 15th, 2022.
