Creepy Trailer for the Haunted House Psychological Thriller YOU SHOULD HAVE LEFT with Kevin Bacon and Amanda Seyfried
Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for Blumhouse Pictures’ new haunted house psychological thriller You Should Have Left. The movie stars Kevin Bacon and Amanda Seyfried as a couple who take a vacation with their daughter to a secluded vacation home in the Welsh countryside in an effort to help fix their relationship. From there, the story turns into a terrifying nightmare as they are haunted by something sinister.
The movie actually looks like a solid horror film worth checking out! The movie was written and directed by David Koepp, the director of films such as The Trigger Effect, Stir of Echoes, Secret Window, Ghost Town, Premium Rush, and Mortdecai. Here’s the synopsis:
Theo Conroy (Bacon) is a successful middle-aged man whose marriage to his much younger actress wife, Susanna (Seyfried) is shredding at the seams, frayed by her secretiveness, his jealousy, and the shadow of his past. In an effort to repair their relationship, Theo and Susanna book a vacation at a stunning, remote modern home in the Welsh countryside for themselves and their six-year-old daughter, Ella (Avery Essex). What at first seems like a perfect retreat distorts into a perfect nightmare when Theo's grasp on reality begins to unravel and he suspects that a sinister force within the house knows more than he or Susanna have revealed, even to each other.
You Should Have Left will be released on VOD on June 19th. I’ll definitely be checking this one out!
