CRIMSON PEAK - New Film Clip and Four Featurettes
The positive buzz has been growing for Guillermo del Toro’s Crimson Peak. If you’re a fan of the filmmaker’s horror movies, then this is a movie that you don’t want to miss. I really hope that this R-rated gothic horror film succeeds at the box office because if it does, it means that Del Toro will be able to make more movies like this. The studios will stop telling him no when he pitches great projects like this to them. Hell, if this succeeds it could open doors to films like In the Mountains of Madness.
To help get you in the mood for this movie, we have a new clip and four featurettes that focus on certain aspects of the movie. The clip features a chilly conversation between Edith (Mia Wasikowsa) and Lucille (Jessica Chastain). The conversation focus on a metaphor in which Edith is a butterfly and Lucille is a black moth. It looks like Chastain is going to give a insane performance.
Legendary Pictures’ CRIMSON PEAK, a co-production with Universal Pictures, is a haunting gothic horror story directed by the master of dark fairy tales, Guillermo del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth, Hellboy series, Pacific Rim), written by del Toro and Matthew Robbins and starring Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain, Tom Hiddleston and Charlie Hunnam. In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds…and remembers. Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, del Toro and Callum Greene produce, and Jillian Share executive produces.
Crimson Peak hits theaters on October 16th.
