CRITICAL ROLE and Dark Horse Announce New THE TALES OF EXANDRIA Comic Miniseries

Dark Horse and Critical Role are making fans very excited. The two have announced a new miniseries of comics being released called Critical Role: The Tales of Exandria. Each issue in the series appears to focus on a different side character with the first one covering Leylas Kryn, the Bright Queen of the Kryn Dynasty. I love it when franchises explore things outside of their main core like side characters.

Focused on side characters and stories, the first series in this line of bimonthly comics focuses on Leylas Kryn, the Bright Queen of the Kryn Dynasty. Leylas has spent multiple lives in her pursuit to assemble the Luxon. With her eternal lover Quana at her side, she will stop at nothing to use its power to bring a Golden Age to the people under her rule. When what seems to be the final piece of the Luxon appears nearby, Leylas sends Quana to collect it…with consequences that may threaten the entire Kryn Dynasty!

The Tales of Exandria #1 will be available at local comic shops on March 17, 2021. The series is written by Darcy Van Poelgeest with art by CoupleofKooks, covers by Helen Mask, and consultations by Critical Role’s DM Matthew Mercer. There will be a total of four issues. Who do you think the other issues will focus on?
