CRITICAL ROLE Announces Release Date For Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting Reborn Sourcebook

Adventurers wishing to traverse the diverse world of Tal’Dorei don’t have much longer to wait. The Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting Reborn sourcebook is set to release on January 18, 2022. Created by Matthew Mercer, Hannah Rose, and James J Haeck, the new sourcebook is a significant expansion and improvement of the original Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting.

Players can look forward to newly crafted creatures, subclasses, magic items, and more with additional contributions are provided by Critical Role cast members Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, Ashley Johnson, Liam O’Brien, Marisha Ray, Sam Riegel, and Travis Willingham; as well as John Stavropoulos and Aabria Iyengar

Tal’Dorei is an original world created by Mercer for Critical Role’s first campaign that follows Vox Machina. The new sourcebook takes place two decades after the conclusion of Vox Machina’s adventures and outlines how Tal’Dorei has changed in that time. This art filled book also contains:

  • A guide to each major region of Tal’Dorei, with story hooks to fuel your campaign

  • Expanded character options, including 9 subclasses and 5 backgrounds

  • Magic items such as the Vestiges of Divergence, which are legendary artifacts that grow in power with their wielders
