The Critical Role: The Mighty Nein Origins line from Dark Horse Comics and Critical Role is bringing us the next character in the lineup, Fjord Stone. Follow Fjord’s story in graphic novel form as he grows up in an orphanage where he grapples with people’s perceptions of half orcs.

Though his sweet nature is unhelpful in Port Damali, a chance encounter gives him more adventure than he could have hoped for. Fjord was an interesting character on the show who I feel like focused so much on his future that while we saw the most significant aspects of his past, namely his mentor, the show didn’t go into too much depth of his backstory before joining Vandran’s crew.

So I’m excited to see how that all happened, especially knowing what we know now about Uk’otoa.
