Critical Role's THE LEGEND OF VOX MACHINA Animated Series Renewed for Season 4
Prime Video announced that Critical Role’s hit animated series The Legend of Vox Machina has been renewed for Season 4. The news comes just ahead of the three-episode Season 3 finale on October 24.
This has been such a fun show to watch, and i’m looking forward to watching the story continue for these crazy and rambunctious characters.
Melissa Wolfe, head of animation, Amazon MGM Studios said in a statement: “The fantastic team at Critical Role and Titmouse continues to deliver captivating seasons of The Legend of Vox Machina and we are excited for more to come.
“Our global Prime Video audience has embraced this series from the beginning and the fans, along with us, remain passionate about the characters and stories.”
Executive producer Sam Riegel added: “We are beyond thrilled – and grateful – to continue the epic and wild adventures of Vex, Vax, Keyleth, Percy, Pike, Grog and everyone’s favorite character – Scanlan.
“With each season, this show levels up, and we already have big plans to level up both our heroes and villains in Season Four.”
In Season 3 of the series, the Chroma Conclave’s path of destruction spreads like wildfire while the Cinder King hunts down Vox Machina.
Our lovable band of misfits must rise above inner (and outer) demons to try and save their loved ones, Tal’Dorei, and all of Exandria.
In the current season, “Thordak turns his attention to Vox Machina after their victory over the black dragon Umbrasyl, although the adventurers have grown more powerful during their travels with the collection of several Vestiges of Divergence.”
“They're rowdy, they're ragtag, they're misfits turned mercenaries for hire. Vox Machina is more interested in easy money and cheap ale than actually protecting the realm.
“But when the kingdom is threatened by evil, this boisterous crew realizes that they are the only ones capable of restoring justice. What began as a simple payday is now the origin story behind Exandria’s newest heroes.”
The series stars Critical Role founders and cast members Laura Bailey (The Last of Us: Part II), Taliesin Jaffe (World of Warcraft), Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us), Liam O’Brien (Marvel’s Avengers), Matthew Mercer (Baldur’s Gate 3), Marisha Ray (Fallout 76), Sam Riegel (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), and Travis Willingham (Marvel’s Avengers).
