Crossbones is Rumored To Be Making a Comeback in The Marvel Cinematic Universe

There’s no doubt that the upcoming slate of Marvel films in phase 4 is going to be full of exciting surprises. Beyond the films that have been announced we don’t know what is coming, but it’s safe to say Marvel already has their plans laid out for the next 10+ years.

Well, according to a new rumor, a fan-favorite character might end up returning to the MCU, and that character is Brock Rumlow a.k.a. Crossbones. Yeah, the character did seem to be killed off in Captain America: Civil War, but he also showed up in Avengers: Endgame thanks to the time travel element that was utilized.

According to MCU Cosmic, “Marvel is looking to bring back Crossbones in some way and are in discussions about it now.” We don’t know where or how the character will make a comeback, but it would have to be in some kind of alternate universe that could be cracked open in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness because that’s what that film is supposed to do.
