CROSSING SWORDS is Ordered by Hulu From Producers of ROBOT CHICKEN

If you love the irreverent Robot Chicken, then buckle up because they’ve got a new show for you. Crossing Swords comes from the minds of John Harvatine IV and Tom Root who are executive producers of Robot Chicken, and Hulu just ordered 10 episodes of it. Set to premiere in 2020, the show is said to be a stop-motion animated comedy series with the following synopsis:

Created by Harvatine IV and Root, Crossing Swords stars [Nicholas] Hoult as Patrick, a goodhearted peasant who lands a coveted squire position at the royal castle. His dream job quickly turns into a nightmare when he learns his beloved kingdom is run by a hornet’s nest of horny monarchs, crooks and charlatans. Even worse, Patrick’s valor made him the black sheep in his family, and now his criminal siblings have returned to make his life hell. War, murder, full frontal nudity—who knew brightly colored peg people led such exciting lives?

Hoult will lead the cast of voice actors that will also include, Luke Evans, Seth Green, Tony Hale, Wendi McClendon-Covey, Breckin Meyer, Adam Pally, Adam Ray, Tara Strong, and Alanna Ubach.
