Crunchyroll and VIZ Launch Original Mobile Game GRAND ALLIANCE
Crunchyroll Games and VIZ Media have teamed up with Gaudium to release a new mobile game called Grand Alliance. Surprisingly, this is Crunchyroll’s first game not based on an existing IP and that’s kind of exciting. Of course, I’m now expecting a new Grand Alliance anime to be announced as a Crunchyroll Original, but that’s neither her nor there. The game follows a princess named Amelia who is trying to unite the nation after her family’s assassination. Players will collect 30+ heroes that span four classes (warrior, skirmisher, gunner, mage) to form a squad of three. Each hero can have their abilities and equipment customized to create unique loadouts.
The story of “Grand Alliance” follows Amelia, the last surviving princess of the empire, as she aims to unite a nation torn apart by strife after her family’s assassination.
