It’s time to get excited Dr. STONE fans. Crunchyroll recently announced that the third season, Dr. STONE New World, will premiere on April 6 at 7:30 AM PDT. This will be a simulcast across the globe in Japanese with subtitles and new episodes will air every Thursday. If you prefer dubbed anime, you’ll have to wait until April 20 at 12:30 PM PDT with new episodes weekly. Please keep in mind that this is for the English dub. With the Stone Wars over, the former members of Tsukasa’s Empire of Might join forces with the Kingdom of Science to build a ship capable of sailing across open ocean to seek answers on the mystery of the global petrification. However, before they can begin their voyage Senku and his friends need to find some key resources and push some new scientific advancements to build the type of vessel they need.
Dr. STONE is a very popular anime series based on the manga written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi. It takes place in a post-apocalyptic world and is on my short list of shows to watch when I have a minute. New World is directed by Shuhei Matsushita with TMS Entertainment covering the animation production. Are you excited for the new season?
