Crunchyroll is Joining Forces with AnimeLab to get the Anime Community to Help Australia After Devestating Fires

The world is hurting for Australia with the disastrous brushfires. So much is being destroyed, but luckily many people are wanting to help any way they can. The latest bit I’ve heard is that Crunchyroll has teamed up with AnimeLab to help raise money to help victims.

AnimeLab started up a GoFundMe asking anime fans to help raise money for WIldlife Victoria. They have agreed to match all funds up to $75,000 and when Crunchyroll joined the initiative, they pledged to match up to $50,000. At the time of writing, the campaign is at $43,713 with a goal of $150,000.

I think it’s great that the anime community is coming together for a wonderful cause.
