Crunchyroll Procures Simulcast Rights for Upcoming Anime TRIGUN STAMPEDE
Trigun is a beloved anime from the late 90s and Toho recently announced Trigun Stampede, which is a new anime series connected to the original. Sadly, we don’t know how it’s connected other than the fact that the press release states that “Trigun will be reborn as a new anime series…” So, interpret that as you will. If you’re excited about that, Crunchyroll has announced that they have acquired the rights to simulcast the series when it launches in 2023. If you want to learn more about Trigun Stampede, you’ll want to tune in to Anime Expo 2022 on July 2 at 8PM PT when more will be announced during a Crunchyroll-hosted panel. Panelists include Trigun manga author Yasuhiro Nightow, designer Jouji Tajima, producer Kiyotaka Waki, producer Yoshihiro Watanabe, and producer Katsuhiro Takei. The little bit that we do know about Trigun Stampede is that it will be produced by Orange and will feature an all-new staff and cast. You can always check out the official Trigun Stampede website and Twitter account for the most up-to-date news. What do you hope and/or expect from this series?
