Cute Trailer for Lindsay Lohan's Netflix Holiday Movie FALLING FOR CHRISTMAS
The trailer has dropped for the holiday Netflix movie, Falling For Christmas, starring Lindsay Lohan (The Parent Trap, Mean Girls) and Chord Overstreet (Glee). The romantic comedy “revolves around a newly engaged and spoiled heiress (Lohan) who, after being diagnosed with amnesia due to a skiing accident, subsequently lands in the care of a blue-collar lodge owner (Overstreet) and his daughter.”
The film also stars Jack Wagner, George Young, Blythe Howard, Chase Ramsey, and Olivia Perez. It is directed by Janeen Damian in her directorial debut. Damian previously wrote and produced Christmas Waltz and Much Ado About Christmas, and she co-wrote the screenplay for Falling For Christmas with husband Michael Damian (Hot Tamale, Moondance Alexander), Jeff Bonnett (Love by the Book), and Ron Oliver (Operation Christmas, Harvest Moon).
This looks like your typical Christmas movie that gets pumped out every year, which I typically never watch. But it has a major Overboard vibe, and I have honestly really missed Lindsay Lohan, so I am looking forward to checking it out. You can hear Lohan singing “Jingle Bell Rock” in a nod to her Mean Girls role, and that’s so much fun for fans to hear! Besides that, the trailer suggests there’s no singing in the movie, but Lohan and Overstreet both have great voices, so I hope a karaoke scene or something highlighting their voices makes it into the story.
Check it out below, and watch Falling For Christmas on Netflix on November 10th.
