Cute Trailer for Sky Family Original Fall Movie GROW Starring Nick Frost
Sky Cinema has released a trailer for their original fall family movie, Grow, starring Nick Frost, Golda Rosheuval, and Priya-Rose Brookwell as Charlie Little, with Jane Horrocks, Jeremy Swift, Tim McInnerny, Dominic MacLaughlin, and Joe Wilkinson.
The film is directed by John McPhail (Where Do We Go from Here?, Anna and the Apocalypse, Dear David) from a screenplay written by Nick Guthe, Christos N. Gage, and Ruth Fletcher Gage.
The synopsis reads: “Welcome to the Pumpkin Capital of the World... where things are about to get wildly out of hand. Grow is a heartwarming (and slightly chaotic) tale of pumpkins, sabotage, and unexpected family ties. When a tough-as-nails farmer takes in her rebellious niece, Charlie, she doesn’t expect her to shake up the town - or enter the fiercely competitive local pumpkin contest.
“But with a genetically engineered super-pumpkin, shady sabotage, and a town full of eccentric growers, Charlie’s got her work cut out for her. As she raises her pumpkin ‘Peter’ from seed to superstar, she might just grow something even bigger – a new life, a community... and maybe a little love.”
This looks like a fun movie to watch this fall with the family. I know my kids will enjoy it. Check out the trailer below, and watch Grow on Sky Cinema in the UK starting October 10th. Stay tuned for the US release date.
