DAILY SHOW Veteran Hasan Minhaj is Getting a Netflix Talk Show
The latest comedian to get their own talk show is Hasan Minhaj. The Daily Show veteran has gotten a 32-episode deal with Netflix where he will:
“The show will explore the modern cultural and political landscape with depth and sincerity. Each week, Minhaj will bring his unique comedic voice and storytelling skill to investigate the larger trends shaping our fragmented world. He revealed in a statement how “thrilled” he was to be “joining the Netflix family as the country braces for another election season. And like you, I cannot wait to find out who Putin picks this time.””
Minhaj will finish his work on The Daily Show at the end of July before starting work on this new project. The project is still unnamed and no release date is confirmed, but we know that it will premiere later this year on Netflix.
