Daisy Ridley Reveals Whether Fans Will Know Who Her Parents Are at the End of STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER
This week, Daisy Ridley met up with USA Today, and discussed her latest film, Ophelia (in select theaters now), as well as the upcoming final film in the Star Wars nine film story arc, and whether fans will walk away with the answer to the question we’ve had since 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Who are Rey’s parents? And will we find out in this film? According to Ridley, the answer is yes! Here’s exactly what she had to say:
Q: There's been an intense obsession with Rey's parents, and many fans were dissatisfied when they were revealed to be "nobodies" in "The Last Jedi." Is there more to their story in the new film?
Ridley: (Director J.J. Abrams) did say the question is answered. So at the end of the film, you do know what the dealio is.
So there you have it, folks. Come December, we will know what the dealio is. It’s nice to know that questions will be answered and the story will wrap up. The fans are a fickle bunch, and there’s no way it will please everyone, but hopefully the masses are happy with what the film brings.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker opens in theaters on December 20, 2019. Are you excited, sad, nervous, or a mix of emotions?
