Daisy Ridley Says THE RISE OF SKYWALKER Is a Different Genre Than Previous Films
In a recent interview with USA Today, Daisy Ridley made a bold claim when talking about Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. She said that it’s a different genre than the previous films:
“Genre-wise, it’s different from the other two, which will become clear when the film comes out. It’s quite emotional. There’s a different drive than the previous two films, but there’s a lot of fun. I really missed John (Boyega) during the last one, but we’re back together and now Oscar (Isaac) is part of it. To me, it felt like kids going on an adventure.”
Of course, she doesn’t elaborate on what exactly that means, but it should prove interesting. Of course, I’m sure after the film is released there will be people who say this line is a bunch of crap and that she lied, etc. However, I’m still excited for this film. It’s the end of an era, the final part of a trilogy of trilogies.
The Rise of Skywalker will be in theaters on December 20.
