Daisy Ridley Says There Were Some Changes to the End of THE RISE OF SKYWALKER While Filming
This last weekend has been big for Star Wars fans as we got the first trailer for the final film in the Skywalker saga: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. With that though, there were numerous other panels and interviews happening at Star Wars Celebration. This of course led to a lot of information about some of the behind-the-scenes stuff for the film including the fact that the ending changed while shooting. This information came from Daisy Ridley who stars in the film as Rey, and it sounds like while there were changes, the overall objective stayed the same.
Hopefully, after The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20, someone will explain how the ending changed. I’m genuinely curious now! J.J. Abrams is directing the film, and Ridley is joined by John Boyega, Adam Driver, Mark Hamill, Oscar Isaac, Kelly Marie Tran, and Billy Dee Williams to name a few of her costars.
