Daisy Ridley Set to Star in the Amazon Drama Series THE BETTER LIAR Based on the Book
Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley has signed on to star in the Amazon drama series The Better Liar, based on the novel of the same name by Tanen Jones. Ridley is executive producing the project, which is set to be executive produced and written by Raelle Tucker (True Blood).
In the story, “when a woman hires a lookalike in an effort to conceal her sister’s death and claim their shared inheritance, her deception exposes a web of dangerous secrets.”
Ridley has been filming the noir thriller Magpie, based on a story she had developed, and will next be seen in The Marsh King’s Daughter and Young Woman and the Sea.
