D&D Already Has a New Update for the Artificer Unearthed Arcana Class

Dungeons & Dragons has already released a new Unearthed Arcana for the Artificer. If you didn’t know, Unearthed Arcana is their name for playtest material that people can use and then provide feedback and in February, they released their first revision for the Artificer class. This new revision adds two new subclasses called the Archivist and the Battle Smith, new infusions, a revised spell list, and a revision to multiclassing.

The Archivist looks to be interesting as they use calligrapher tools to basically bring a Tiny inanimate object to life. I imagine it being kind of like in Nomad of Nowhere, but I know that’s not quite it. The Battle Smith sounds like a boss though as they get a mechanical animal to help protect them and allies. It sounds really awesome!

With so much focus on the Artificier, do you think they’ll officially release it this year? I’m starting to think that’s a real possibility.
