Dan Stevens Joins Lily James in Film about Bumble Founder Whitney Wolfe Herd
Dan Stevens will star alongside Lily James in the upcoming film about Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd. There’s no word who Stevens will be playing, but James will be playing Herd in the film.
Herd launched the online dating platform Bumble after co-founding and leaving Tinder, and became one of the youngest self-made billionaires at age 31, when Bumble went public in 2021. She stepped down as CEO last year.
Rachel Lee Goldenberg will direct from a script she wrote with Bill Parker and Kim Caramele. The film is said to be “somewhat loosely inspired by Herd’s story.”
Has appeared in a lot of projects recently with Godzilla x Kong: A New Empire and Abigail, both opening in theaters recently. Stevens will next be seen in the Neon thriller Cuckoo, which looks bonkers.
