Dana Carvey Shares WAYNE'S WORLD Post on Social Media and Now Fans Are Hoping for WAYNE'S WORLD 3
Dana Carvey recently shared a post on Instagram that features a photo of him back as his classic Wayne’s World character Garth Algar and he’s seen painting a portrait of Mike Myers’s Wayne, who is laying on the couch posing for the painting.
As you might imagine, fans are now wondering if this could mean there is more Wayne’s World coming, and while there’s no indication that anything is happening with this comedy franchise, it would be freakin’ awesome to see a third Wayne’s World movie get made!
The photo comes with the caption: "Garth says, 'I like to paint,'" with a #WaynesWorld hashtag. In the comments, Carvey followed up... by posting an easel emoji, but there’s no hint about any possible new content.
Beauty and the Beast and Frozen star Josh Gad responded in the comments saying: "Please let it be 3.” A lot of fans echoed Gad’s comment hoping for a new movie.
The property belongs to Paramount Pictures, and it’s up to them on if anything ever happens with the franchise. It worked with Bill & Ted: Face the Music! Why not bring Wayne and Garth back!? The fans would love it!
Seriously though, why post something like this if you didn’t want to get the fans excited for something that’s coming!?
