Dane DeHaan Boards Apple TV+’s Cyberpunk Series NEUROMANCER

Dane DeHaan, known for American Primeval, Oppenheimer, and The Amazing Spider-Man, has officially joined the the cast of the upcoming cyberpunk series Neuromancer in a recurring role.

He’ll play Peter Riviera, a character that fans of William Gibson’s novel will no doubt recognize. He is a thief and sadist who can project holographic images using his implants.

DeHaan joins a cast that already includes Callum Turner (Masters of the Air) as Case, the self-destructive hacker at the center of the story, and Briana Middleton (Sharper) as Molly, a lethal "razor-girl" assassin with mirrored eyes and zero patience for nonsense.

Together, they dive headfirst into a high-stakes digital heist that pulls them deep into a corporate conspiracy with world-altering secrets.

Rounding out the cast are Joseph Lee, Mark Strong, Clémence Poésy, and Peter Sarsgaard.

Neuromancer is created for television by Graham Roland and JD Dillard. Roland, who previously worked on Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, will also serve as showrunner. Dillard (Sleight, Devotion) is on board to direct the pilot. The series is a co-production between Skydance Television, Anonymous Content, and Apple Studios, with Drake’s DreamCrew Entertainment also producing.

DeHaan is coming off recent performances in American Primeval, Dumb Money, and Nolan’s Oppenheimer, DeHaan has been building a portfolio of unpredictable, layered characters, so this should be a great role for him to take on.
