Dane DeHaan Joins the Cast of Stephen King's LISEY'S STORY at Apple
Dane DeHaan (Lawless, The Amazing Spider-Man 2) has joined the cast of one of the many upcoming Stephen King adaptations, Lisey’s Story. The series already stars Julianne Moore (Still Alice), Clive Owen (Children of Men), and Joan Allen (Pleasantville). Here’s the synopsis and DeHaan’s character description from Deadline:
Lisey’s Story is a deeply personal thriller that follows Lisey (Moore) two years after the death of her husband (Owen). A series of events causes Lisey to begin facing certain realities about her husband that she had repressed and forgotten.
Dehaan will play Jim Dooley, a huge fan of Scott’s (Owen) books who feels strongly about his unpublished work being released to the world.
King adapted the script for the series himself, which is based on his bestselling 2006 novel. The cast is great, and King’s work speaks for itself. Lisey’s Story will be a limited series that will premiere on Apple TV+, date TBA. I’m interested in checking it out. How about you?
