Danny DeVito and Aubrey Plaza to Star in Animated Series LITTLE DEMON at FX

Actors Danny DeVito, known for tons of roles over the years from Taxi to It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Aubrey Plaza, also known for many great roles like Parks and Recreation and Legion, are teaming up to voice characters in a new animated series for FX called Little Demon.

The show is being created by Plaza and her longtime collaborators Darcy Fowler, Seth Kirschner, and Kieran Valla, who along with Plaza refer to themselves as “The Terror Team.” The group puts out pilots and sketch comedy together, and has been collaborating for years.

Here’s the description of the series, courtesy of Variety:

[Little Demon] follows a reluctant mother (Plaza) who, 13 years after being impregnated by the Devil (DeVito), is attempting to live an ordinary life in Delaware with her daughter. However, she is constantly thwarted by monstrous forces, including Satan, who yearns for custody of his daughter’s soul.

Plaza’s Antichrist offspring will be voiced by DeVito’s daughter Lucy DeVito.

This sounds like a fun project right up these comedians’ alley. It will be great to get some new comedies after this pandemic is over. I’m glad people are out there coming up with new material for us to enjoy. Will you be checking out Little Demon?
