DAREDEVIL and JESSICA JONES Might Actually Live On in The MCU
It was a big bummer when we learned that Netflix had canceled all of the Marvel shows such as Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and The Punisher. Well, according to a recent report, two of the more popular characters might end up living on in the MCU.
According to MCU Cosmic, “someone very important” at Marvel Studios was a huge fan of Daredevil and Jessica Jones, “so at the very least it sounds like the characters will live on in the MCU.”
The report goes on to say that these will not be a revival of the Netflix shows, instead “those characters might (once the moratorium is up and Marvel can use them again) appear in future MCU movies or series. That’s without rebooting them, which means it’s possible that Charlie Cox and Krysten Ritter could continue in the roles.”
It’s also specifically pointed out that there’s no information on what might happen with Punisher or any of the characters in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I guess that means some of those characters could live on in the MCU at well.
As for the “very important” person at Marvel Studios, it’s most likely Kevin Feige who was recently promoted to Chief Creative Officer over all Marvel and he will be overseeing the future of the live-action TV shows.
I hope that there’s some truth to this news! I would love to see these characters back in action at some point down the line! What do you think?
