DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Season 2 Leaked Photo Reveals New Full Suit with Classic “DD” Logo

It looks like the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen is officially rocking his most comic-accurate look yet. A leaked promotional image from Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has given fans their clearest view of Charlie Cox’s black new suit that includes the iconic “DD” logo fans have been waiting years to see.

Set photos from the upcoming season first hinted that Matt Murdock’s costume had undergone some serious changes. The suit appears to be his red outfit from Season 1, but painted over in black. Bits of red peek through the black makeover, giving the suit a gritty, battle-worn look that perfectly fits Daredevil’s street-level vibe.

The “DD” logo emblazoned across his chest is a major deal, it’s a signature part of the hero’s comic book look that’s been missing ever since Daredevil first premiered on Netflix in 2015. Fans have been asking for it for nearly a decade.

According to reports, the photo comes from a professional shoot used for promotional materials and as reference for collectible makers like Hasbro and Hot Toys. The design itself seems inspired by Charles Soule’s comic run on Daredevil, a storyline that has clearly influenced much of the Disney+ series so far.

Speaking at New York Comic Con last month, Charlie Cox couldn’t hide his excitement about the new look. He said:

“There's a cool new suit, which I'm really excited about. It's my favourite one yet. It's got the double Ds on the chest, which I've been waiting for for about 10 years. I started to think I was never going to earn those.”

That’s the kind of enthusiasm that gets fans hyped. After years of waiting, Cox is finally wearing the version of the suit that truly embodies the Daredevil from the comics.

For those catching up, Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 followed Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer with enhanced abilities, as he fought for justice alongside his firm while Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk pursued political power in New York. Their paths inevitably collided, setting up another intense chapter in their story.

The series features Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, Ayelet Zurer, and Jon Bernthal.

Season 2 will add Krysten Ritter, Matthew Lillard, Lili Taylor, and Royce Johnson, with Dario Scardapane serving as showrunner.

All episodes of Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 are now streaming on Disney+, with Season 2 set to hit the platform on March 4, 2026.
