Dark and Twisted Trailer for the Christmas Eve-Set Horror Thriller HOSTS
Dark Sky Films has shared a trailer for an upcoming dark and twisted British horror-thriller set during Christmas Eve titled Hosts. This looks like this movie is going to tell one hell of a wild and nightmarish story, and it’s looking to shock audiences in some aspects.
The story follows a father with a dark secret who “unknowingly invites a demonic entity, who's disguised as his neighbors, into his home to enjoy Christmas dinner with his family. Throughout the night they proceed to terrorize a family of five in unimaginably violent and disturbing ways. But these demonic possessions won’t end with this unfortunate family; they mark just the beginning of a horrific worldwide epidemic. Beneath its nerve-jangling suspense, the film offers a dark and bloody insight into how lying to your loved ones can not only alienate them, it can completely destroy your bonds with them forever.”
Hosts is co-directed by filmmakers Adam Leader and Richard Oakes, and they are making their feature directorial debut with the film after working in the camera department on various other productions. The screenplay is written by Adam Leader, and it’s gonna be a brutal and intense horror flick!
The film stars Samantha Loxley, Neal Ward, Nadia Lamin, Frank Jakeman, and Lee Hunter. Hosts will get a direct-to-VOD release on October 2nd.
