Dark Horse Brings FARSEER TRILOGY To Life In New Comic Adaptation

Dark Horse Comics is teaming up with Assassin’s Apprentice creator Robin Hobb, co-writer Jody Houser, artist Ryan Kelly, colorist Jordie Bellaire, and letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou in a new adaptation of the first installment of the Farseer Trilogy. Here’s the official synopsis for Assassin’s Apprentice:

Until recently, Fitz was only known as “boy.” The illegitimate son of a powerful noble, Fitz is taken in by his uncle, Prince Verity, who prepares the boy for a journey to the capital to meet his royal grandfather. I’m excited to see this best selling fantasy series get some new life in comic form. I think adapting fantasy books into comics is a great idea as we have seen far too many live action shows completely botch some beloved books.
