Dark Horse Is Releasing Three New STAR WARS HIGH REPUBLIC Comics

Dark Horse Comics and Star Wars: The High Republic publishing initiative has two new series and a one shot releasing starting November 30.

Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures written by Daniel José Older and illustrated by Toni Bruno will be an 8 issue series about the origin story of Jedi Sav Malágan. Here’s the full synopsis:

As a teenage Padawan, Sav has been training her entire life to understand the ways of the Force and become a Jedi Knight, until a chance encounter with pirate queen Maz Kanata and her outlaw crew finds Sav longing for greater adventures beyond her world of disciplined studies.

By chance, the news of an alliance of dark Force users requires Sav to join her new friends to uncover the true nature of this dark alliance.

Star Wars: The High Republic: Nameless Terror written by George Mann and Illustrated by Eduardo Mello and Ornella Savarese is a 4 issue mini series that sounds like a cool horror story. A routine Jedi mission to Dalna suddenly comes under deadly assault from an unseen foe. Cut off from help, it’s up to a Republic Pathfinder team with three jedis to make their stand or fall prey to the ruthless predator.

Star Wars: The High Republic: Quest of the Jedi written by Claudia Gray and illustrated by Fico Ossio is a one shot that features legendary Jedi Knight Barnabus Vim and his Padawan arriving on Angcord in search of an ancient artifact of the force. They quickly get more than they bargained for  as they try to figure out what the mysterious Echo Stone does and what its existence means for the continued survival of all those who live on Angcord.

High Republic Adventures will be arriving in comic shops November 30, The Nameless Terror will be available December 28, and Quest of the Jedi will be available March 1, 2023. They are currently available for pre order at your local comic shop.
