DARK WINDS Season 4 Teaser Trailer Teases a Haunting New Case and Premiere Date Set

AMC has officially set the return date for its gripping noir thriller Dark Winds. Season 4 premieres Sunday, February 15 at 9 PM on AMC and AMC+, and fans are getting their first look at Lt. Joe Leaphorn’s newest case in a tense teaser trailer.

“I had this badge for four years before I saw my first murder,” says Zahn McClarnon’s Leaphorn in the trailer. “Now it just feels like every day. It’s hard having to hold it all.”

Season 4 takes the mystery far beyond the Navajo Nation, as Leaphorn (McClarnon), Jim Chee (Kiowa Gordon), and Bernadette Manuelito (Jessica Matten) search for a missing Navajo girl.

Their investigation pulls them into the gritty streets of 1970s Los Angeles, where they must race against time to rescue her from a dangerous killer with deep ties to organized crime.

Dark Winds has built its reputation for it’s great character-driven storytelling and crime noir vibe, all set against the striking landscapes and culture of the Navajo Nation. As the team faces mounting violence and moral challenges.

The series is based on the Leaphorn & Chee novels by Tony Hillerman, and it’s executive produced by the late Robert Redford and George R.R. Martin, with Graham Roland (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan) serving as creator and John Wirth (Hell on Wheels) as showrunner.

Returning cast members include Deanna Allison as Emma Leaphorn and A. Martinez as Gordo Sena. Season 4 introduces several new faces, including Franka Potente as Irene Vaggan, Isabel DeRoy-Olson as Billie Tsosie, Chaske Spencer as Sonny, Luke Barnett as FBI Agent Toby Shaw, and Titus Welliver as Dominic McNair.

Dark Winds Season 4 looks like another intense and beautifully crafted chapter in this standout series.

Dark Winds returns February 15 on AMC and AMC+.
