Darkwing Duck is Set to Make an Appearance in the New DUCKTALES Series

Darkwing Duck is going to be in the new Ducktales series! While it isn't yet revealed how or when, some very specific character designs were shown in some slides for the new Ducktales series during Comic-Con. The slides showed an updated Darkwing Duck, his motorcycle, Megavolt, and the Ratcatcher. 

Now, before we get too excited, it could be an easter egg for people who loved the Darkwing Duck series. Maybe Huey, Dewey, or Louie are big fans of a Darkwing Duck comic series.

As mentioned in a previous article, the original Darkwing Duck and Ducktales series take place in different universes. It explains why Launchpad McQuack can be in two places at once. 

During the panel, the creative team talked a bit about how the new Ducktales series was meant to introduce younger audiences to the entirety of the Disney Duck-Cannon. If that means introducing DW, I'm all aboard. This just excites me even more for this weekend, when Ducktales will premiere with it's first episode. Woo-hoo.
