Every now and then I see ads on YouTube for Masterclass. Masterclass is an online education platform that uses industry experts as teachers and tutors. The most common one I’ve seen is with Hans Zimmer. During the ad he talks about his approach to composing film scores, using Batman Begins as his example. Every time I see that ad I wish I could take that class, and I’m not big into composing (but maybe I could be). Well, the people at Nerdist have decided that Darth Vader would be a great instructor for a knock-off program called Mastermind. Darth Vader will teach you how to build your brand and the level of commitment you must have. For example, would you lose a limb for your brand?
