Dave Bautista Looking To Star in Cop and Dog Netflix Film UNLEASHED

Dave Bautista is looking to star in a new film project for Netflix titled Unleashed. The movie will be directed by Jeff Tomsic (TAG) from a script written by Blockers scribes Jim and Brian Kehoe.

Bautista is in talks to star and produce the film in which he’ll play “a police officer who’s best friends with a canine partner that can sniff out any crime. When Boomer dies on the job, the cop pledges no more pooch partners, until he is teamed with Zeus.”

Bautista starring in a cop and dog movie seems to make complete sense. Most people love dog movies, so there’s a good chance that a movie like this with Bautista’s involvement will be a big hit for Netflix.

The Kehoes created the animated series Futha Mucka, which stars Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson. They have also worked on several other projects including Double Fault with Rebel Wilson playing a former tennis phenom who tries to rebound from a McEnroe-esque meltdown by coaching a young player to take a flamethrower to the sport. They also scripted Luck Key, a remake of the Korean film of the same title, that will star Marlon Wayans.
