Dave Bautista Says Working For Disney is "Pretty Nauseating" After They Fired James Gunn

Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista has been very vocal about how he disapproves of director James Gunn being fired after a bunch of old offensive tweets resurfaced.

It was recently reported that Disney is unlikely to re-hire Gunn to direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and Bautista is not happy. Over the weekend he posted a tweet saying that it's "pretty nauseating" to work for Disney after what they had done to Gunn. Here's his full statement:

A lot of fans have wondered why the cast of the movie just didn't drop out of the film in support of Gunn and the answer here is because they are legally obligated to star in the film. He also makes it very clear that starring in a Guardians film without Gunn at the helm is not what he signed up for.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 star Kurt Russell also recently weighed in on Gunn's firing saying, "It’s sad. But it’s a part of our fabric now, and I get it. But I do think we’re getting a little too sensitive on maybe some of the wrong people."

A lot of fans are in support of Gunn and think that he should be hired back. It's probably not going to happen, though.
