Dave Bautista Wants to Play Bane and He Even Pitched the Idea to WB and DC

Dave Bautista already has a great role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Drax, but he also wants in on the DC films! He already knows what character he wants to play, and that character is the classic Batman villain Bane.

Bautista has been very vocal about this on social media. He’s been very passionate about wanting to play Bane in a DC movie for years, and during a recent appearance Justice Con, he revealed that he’s even pitched the idea of him playing Bane to Warner Bros. and DC:

"Oh, it would be Bane all day long. I've made no secret about this. I want to play Bane so bad I went to Warner Bros., had an appointment with them, had an appointment with DC, walked in the door and said, 'I want to play Bane.' I'm not kidding. They were a little like 'Woah, we're not even casting Bane.' I was like 'I don't care, I'm playing him.'"

So, if Warner Bros. and DC ever decide to cast Bane in a future film project, I guess Bautista will be playing him. It would be pretty crazy if they did end up casting Bane in a film, but they didn’t go with Bautista! He’s seriously perfect for the role.
