Dave Bautista Will Play a Hitman Who Puts a Hit On Himself in a New Film Called KILLER'S GAME

Dave Bautista has been jumping on board a lot of film projects recently! The guy is definitely keeping himself busy and he’s got another new film project lined up. It’s for an action thriller called Killer’s Game and it sounds like it could end up being a wild flick!

Bautista will play a hitman in the story who finds out that he has terminal cancer. So what does he do? He decides to put a hit contract on his own life. But, as you might expect there’s a little twist. He later discovers that the lab made a mistake and he’s actually in perfect health. This puts him in a position where he has to battle an army of assassins who are out to kill him.

The movie is being directed by D.J. Caruso (Disturbia, XXX: The Return of Xander Cage) and it’s actually based on a book written by Jay Bonansinga. Here’s the description of the story for the book:

Joe Flood is a hit man, but he has his principles: he only accepts contracts on people who deserve to be killed. And Joe has always accepted his lot. Leading a double life is just one of the costs of doing business. Now his doctor has told him he has only a few months to live and Joe figures for once he’d like to call the shots himself. Literally that is: he puts out an open contract on his own life, with a six-million-dollar reward. All his finest competitors take up the challenge. But the next news he gets is bad. The lab has made an error and Joe is in perfect health. As any good hit man knows, there’s no way to call off a contest like this one. In a dark comedy of deadly errors, Joe and his stalkers set out on a breakneck, kill-or-be-killed romp that bristles with suspense.

This sounds like it will be a super fun project for Bautista to be a part of! He’ll be able to show off both his action and comedy skills!
