“Without community, a restaurant is just what? Eating.”
World-renowned chef Davis Chang is back with the second season of his foodie series Ugly Delicious, and he is looking to serve up some more great deliciousness. I’m a big fan of food and watching shows like this always inspires me to go out and try new kinds of food.
The series comes from director Morgan Neville (Won’t You Be My Neighbor?) and Season 2 will include guests such as Danny McBride, Nick Kroll, Aziz Ansari, Danny McBride, Padma Lakshmi, Helen Rosner, Chris Ying, and Bill Simmons.
Along with episodes that spotlight different kinds of food such as Indian food, steak, and more, it will also explore more countries, how food helps create communities, as well as Chang’s impending fatherhood.
Here’s the synopsis for Ugly Delicious Season 2:
The second season continues to challenge both our taste buds and our minds as Chef Chang travels the world with writers and chefs, activists and artists, who use food as a vehicle to break down cultural barriers, tackle misconceptions and uncover shared experiences. And this season ventures into more of the unknown, including the world of parenting as Chang gears up to become a first time father. Special guests include Nick Kroll, Aziz Ansari, Padma Lakshmi, food writers Helen Rosner and Chris Ying, Danny McBride, Bill Simmons, and Dave Choe among others.
