David Fincher's ZODIAC - Documentary and BTS Featurettes

In my opinion, Zodiac is David Fincher's best movie. It's one of my favorite films of all time, but, unfortunately, it didn't do very well at the box office. In fact, it's the director's lowest grossing film. If you haven't watched this movie yet, please do yourself a favor and check it out. The 2007 film starred Robert Downey Jr., Jake Gyllenhaal, and Mark Rufallo. 

The Film Stage recently found a full length documentary and a couple featurettes based around the movie. These are available on the 2-disc Blu-ray set, but not everyone owns that, so I thought I'd post them here for anyone that's interested. 

The documentary is called This is the Zodiac Speaking, which gives up some in-depth background of the true story that the movie is based on. It features interviews with both the surviving victims and the investigators involved in the unsolved case. The two featurettes focus on the the VFX that were used to help bring the movie to life.

This features some amazing blue screen work. It almost seems that half this movie was not shot in San Fran at all. But you would never know if you didn't want this....amazing work.
