David Hasselhoff Says He and Stan Lee Have Been Texting Buddies for Years

David Hasselhoff ended up attending the premiere of Ant-Man and the Wasp because he's David Hasselhoff and apparently a close friend of Stan Lee. I would have never thought that Lee and Hasselhoff would be friends, but it appears they been friends since Hasselhoff played Nick Fury in the 90s. 

Marvel Entertainment caught up with Hasselhoff on the red carpet and he revealed that he still meets up with him from time to time and that they're texting buddies:

"This franchise started years ago... and that's where I met the legendary Stan Lee. I'm still meeting him - still texting back and forth. He's cool."

When asked directly if how much he and Lee talk, Hasselhoff said, "We chat a lot." This is just a bit of fun geek culture greatness that you probably weren't aware of.
