David Spade and Theo Von Set to Star in the Buddy Comedy BUSBOYS

David Spade and Theo Von (This Past Weekend) are set to star in and produce the buddy comedy film Busboys, which they also wrote and are self-financing.

The movie is set in a border town in Arizona, and the story follows David and Theo, two friends who “think becoming waiters will solve all of their problems. They are wrong.”

I don’t know who would think that being a water would solve all their problems, but we’ll find out why these two characters think that way when the movie is released. I wonder if it will be a Dumb & Dumber kinda thing.

David Spade shared in a statement: “We are looking forward to gracing everyone with this comedy that no one asked for.”

The movie will be directed by Jonah Feingold (At Midnight, Dating & New York, EXmas) and production will kick off January 10th in Los Angeles.
