DC and Warner Bros. Are Currently Taking Pitches for Henry Cavill's MAN OF STEEL Sequel

Henry Cavill is 100% back as Superman and now DC Studios and Warner Bros. are in the process of figuring out what the next , film will be.

In a recent report from Variety, we learned that DC and WB are currently soliciting pitches from writers for the Chuck Roven-produced Man of Steel sequel. We still have a long way to go before we see this long-awaited sequel in theaters, but it is coming and according to Dwayne Johnson all of this will eventually lead to a showdown between Superman and Black Adam.

Cavill confirmed he was reprising the role by sharing a video on Instagram and said: "I wanted to make it official that I am back as Superman. And the image you see on this post and what you saw in Black Adam are just a very small taste of things to come. So there's a lot to be thankful for, and I'll get to that in time, but I wanted to thank you guys most of all. Thank you for your support and thank you for your patience. I promise it will be rewarded."

We’re just going to have to wait and see how this all comes together. But, I’m excited for the future of Superman! Especially now that James Gunn is leading the charge on these new DC films as co-CEO of DC Studios.
